THUPPA


It is a Chinese main course. To prepare Thuppa for 5 portions, you will need the following ingredients with quantity. Thuppa is quite similar to American chopsuey because the preparation of sauce is similar.










Ingredients

Blanched  noodles
500 gm.
for sauce :
Oil
75 ml.
Julienne garlic + ginger
1 ½ tbsp.
Julienne boiled chicken
200 gm.
Julienne blanched carrot
500 gm.
Julienne blanched bean
Julienne blanched capsicum
Julienne cabbage
Julienne onion
Tomato (deseeded) Julienne
Spring onion
1 cup
Stock
5 cups
Soya sauce
1 tbsp.
Oyster sauce
1 tbsp.
Vinegar
1 tbsp.
Brown sugar
1 tsp.
Tomato puree
1 ½ cup
Tomato ketchup
2 tbsp.
Salt & pepper
To taste
Julienne spring onion stalk
2 tbsp

METHOD:
1.      Boil water separately & blanch the boiled noodles, drain, remove in a nappy bowl.
2.      Prepare the sauce using same method as for Americanchopsuey except adding corn flour & egg.
3.      Bring the sauce to boil.
4.      Pour the boiled sauce.
5.      Serve topping with julienne spring onion.
